Definition

Controls how change marks are applied to reports.

Use

You control the indicator using the following values:

  • Value 0:

No change marks are created. If you do not specify a value, the SAP system uses the default value 0.

  • Value 1:

When generating reports, the sections are marked that have had relevant changes made since the previous version was generated.
When you exchange or insert reference specifications, inheritance relationships, components, and transport classifications, no change marks are created if the values of the exchanged reference specifications, inheritance relationships, components, or transport classifications have not changed since the previous version was generated. (The exchange date of the reference specification, component, or transport classification is not taken into account.)

  • Value 2:

When generating reports, the sections are marked that have had relevant changes made since the previous version was generated.
When you exchange or insert components and transport classifications, all values from the components and transport classifications are marked, independent of whether relevant changes were made or not.

When you exchange or insert reference specifications and inheritance relationships, all values from the reference specifications and inheritance relationships are marked, depending on whether the corresponding reference or relationship is marked with the indicator relevant.

Notes:

For more information about change marks, see the SAP Library for the Basic Data and Tools component under Change Marks.
