Definition
This field contains the logical lock mode for a record in the EH&S system. The logical lock mode specifies how a record is protected from being accessed by another user.
The statement "logical lock mode = 'shared'" for a given record, for example, means that the record is handled and can be used as if it had been assigned a shared lock using the lock mechanism available in the SAP system.
The logical lock mode must not be identical to the actual lock mode. How a record is protected physically from being accessed, is dealt with internally in the EH&S system.
