Use

If you select this field, when the system generates a where-used list for inheritance, it considers those specifications that are included as direct and indirect source specifications in the selection specifications by means of inheritance relationships.

Example:

Specification A passes data on to specification B. Specification B passes data on to specification C. As a result, specification A also occurs in specification C, since it passes its data on to specification B. Specifications B and C will be displayed in the where-used list for specification A since specification A is the indirect source specification of specification C.
