Definition
Character variable that contains the standardized identification.
Use
This variable is used for standardized storage of all identifications. This enables you to search for identifications within a certain scope.
Identifications are standardized by converting all characters into capitals and by removing special characters. That is, you may only use numbers 0 through 9 and letters A through Z in this field.
