Definition
Specifies that the symbol for a phrase is expanded in a report if the phrase item has this phrase status.
The phrase items are subjected to a status check if the Status Check indicator is set in the generation variant header or in the dialog box for the Report from Template function.
Use
If the indicator for the status check is set, the generation checks whether the status of the phrase item to be output contains the indicator for phrase symbol expansion.
The following entries are possible:
Value Meaning
X Indicator is set: the status releases the output of the
phrase item on the report. The symbol in the
report is replaced by the corresponding attribute
of the phrase (phrase text, phrase code,
phrase graphic).
<blank> Indicator is not set: instead of the phrase item,
the following character string is output on the report
(for phrase status = externally in process and phrase
EHS-H2.0000456 in German):
{**Phrase status externally in process: [D] EHS-H2.0000456**}
Examples
If a phrase item is still in translation, you can leave the indicator blank. The phrase key and status (for example, external translation) are then printed on the report.
