Documentation
Use
If you carry out the function Edit -> Delete in the SAP component Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S), the data records selected are not physically deleted, but the deletion indicator is set for each one.
If you set the Physically delete indicator and choose the Execute function in master data matchup, the data marked as deleted is deleted completely in the current client.
Note:
The data is deleted from the database tables using the SQL commands DELETE and COMMIT.
Dependencies
If you set the Physically delete indicator with the RC1PHDEL report, the Set deletion indicator function is triggered implicitly as well.
