Definition

Has the effect that the validity areas of this validity area category are recognized by the repeating group S:CLASS as dangerous goods regulations.

Use

On EH&S reports, you can use the repeating group S:CLASS to do the following:

  • Restrict the output of the transport classification to specific dangerous goods regulations predefined in the generation variant
  • Restrict the output of dangerous goods data for the assigned UN-listed substances to the dangerous goods data for the predefined dangerous goods regulations

Dependencies

For the UN-listed substances of the value assignment type transport classification, the repeating group S:CLASS selects all the dangerous goods regulations of the validity area category DREGION for which the DGReg. indicator is set in Customizing. The repeating group also filters out the dangerous goods regulations that were created as a discrete validity area in the generation variant.

These dangerous goods regulations are transferred by the repeating group S:CLASS to the appropriate characteristic field of the corresponding value assignment type for the dangerous goods data (standard value assignment type dangerous goods regulation).

Therefore only the predefined dangerous goods regulations and the corresponding dangerous goods data are output on the EH&S report. In addition, you can define the language relevant for the dangerous goods regulation in the generation variant for the discrete validity area. The language is also taken into account by the repeating group S:CLASS (see UN description in the example).

Syntax Example

The syntax on the report template looks as follows:

Syntax     Explanation

<11BRG000(M,SAP_EHS_1022_023;*)>    Transport classification

<11BRG001(S:CLASS;*)>     Loop over UN-listed substances of transport classification

<01GESTRIDENT(NUM,UN,)>     UN number

<01GESTRIDENT(NAM,UN,)>     UN description (language defined in the regulation)

<11BRG002(M,SAP_EHS_1022_024;*)>    Loop over value assignments of relevant dangerous goods regulations of UN-listed substance

<01SYM_01(;*)>     Characteristic/Field_01 of dangerous goods regulation

<01SYM_02(;*)>     Characteristic/Field_02 of dangerous goods regulation

...

<11ERG002>

<ERG001>

<ERG000>

Explanation of the Syntax Example:

  1. Validity area category

    The validity area category DGREGION is delivered with validity areas in the standard system.

  2. Generation variant

    You must have entered the relevant dangerous goods regulations for the generation variant as discrete validity areas.

    Note:

  3. If you do not set any restriction using the generation variant, the expansion is as before. That is, the repeating group S:CLASS selects all dangerous goods regulations. For more information, see the SAP Library for the Environment, Health and Safety component under Example: Repeating Group S:CLASS:.
  4. Transport classification

    The transport classifications are selected for the regulations specified in the generation variant. In addition, the UN number and description can be output with a defined language at this level.

  5. Dangerous goods regulation

    The dangerous goods data of the UN-listed substance can be output via the repeating group for the value assignment type dangerous goods regulation. During this process, the regulations of the value assignment type dangerous goods regulation are restricted to the current regulation of the transport classification. The regulations are restricted by comparing the regulation with the characteristic value dangerous goods regulation.
