Use
If you select this field, then in a where-used list for compositions, the system only takes into account the specifications that directly contain the selected specifications as components in compositions or listings.
Example:
Specification A is present in a composition of specification B. Specification B is present in a composition of specification D. Thus specification A is also present in a composition of specification D, as it is contained in specification B. However, in the where-used list for specification A, only specification B is displayed. This is because specification A is not contained in specification D as a direct component, and is only contained indirectly via another composition.
Note:
Specifications that contain the selected specifications in specification compositions or listings by means of a reference are also displayed.
Example:
Specification A is present in a composition of specification B. Specification B is a reference specification of specification C and therefore also transfers the composition to specification C. Specifications B and C will be displayed in the where-used list for specification A.
