Documentation

Definition

Specifies the file name extension of the documents that are stored in Document Management (DMS) and that are to be output on EH&S reports.

The application that is used to call the relevant document determines the extension used.

Note:

The extension is specified with a period, for example, .DOC for Word files.

Dependencies

For the output of document management (DMS) documents to function correctly, the appropriate file extension must be specified for each application required in the Suffix field in Customizing for Document Management under Define Workstation Application.

In addition, settings must be made in the WWI.INI file. For more information, see Adapt WWI.INI in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools.
