Documentation
Use
The indicator belongs to the generation variant and controls the further processing of manual report requests you have generated from the specification management hit list:
- If the indicator is set, the SAP system generates report requests (status RR) for reports (status GS) immediately after the report requests have been created manually.
- If the indicator is not set, the report requests retain status RR.
You can generate this report request further by choosing Generate in report management.
Dependencies
The generation variant (SRGV) must be defined as follows, so that a report is given one of the following statuses directly after it has been generated manually or automatically.
Status Prerequisites
RR - Manual report request
| - no indicator Manual report requests gen. automatically
| - Initial status = any
|
GS - Manual or automatic report request
| - Indicator Manual report requests gen. automatically
| - Initial status = GS
|
F1, F.. - Manual or automatic report request
| - Indicator Manual report requests gen. automatically
| - Initial status = F1, F2, F...
CO - Manual or automatic report request
| - Indicator Manual report requests gen. automatically
| - Initial status = CO
|
| Note:
| When converting the status from CO -> RE, the version of the
| report is promoted, if you have set the indicator
| Version requirement.
| If no version requirement exists, the report retains
| version V1.0.
|
RE - Manual or automatic report request
| - Indicator Manual report requests gen. automatically
| - Initial status = RE.
|
HI - Manual or automatic report request
- Indicator Manual report requests gen. automatically
- Indicator Set historical automatically.
- Initial status for latest report = RE
If a new report for the same specification, SRGV,
and language is set to status RE, the older report is set
to status HI automatically.
The following functions take you from the present status to the next status:
