Definition
Date used in financial accounting to enter the documents created in the ERS run.
Use
The system takes the fiscal year and period from the posting date. The accounts and cost categories referred to in the document are updated according to this fiscal year and period.
In document creation, the system refers to the allowed posting period to check if the posting date entered is allowed.
Dependencies
If no posting date is entered, the system takes the day's date as posting date.
