Definition

Total quantity in sales units in a document item (e.g. quotation item), that has already been completed through a sales document (e.g. from an order with a reference to a quotation item).

In this field, the system cumulates the quantities in the sales unit from the relevant sales document flow records (field VBFA-RFMNG_FLO).
The cumulation ignores the type of sales unit which means that it can add quantities measured in different units of measure if necessary.

The cumulated field can be used to measure the degree to which a sales document item has been fulfilled, and is particularly useful for determining the status as well as for checks and proposals for document references.
The field is only used in the standard system if the 'Leading UoM for completing a transaction' in the sales document item (VBAP-KZFME) is not blank. This prerequisite also applies to other systems. This is the only way of ensuring that the sales unit does not change during the flow and that the VBFA-RFMNG_FLO field is filled each time.

Use

The system takes into account the copying requirements for the relevant sales document type in SD Customizing.
The quantity completed in sales order processing is only valid for the document that is directly related to the sales document. (For example, for the quotation that precedes the sales order, but not for the inquiry that led to the quotation.)
The quantity is only completed if you have filled the prerequisities specified for each sales document item in the completion rule.

Example

You create a contract item of over 1000 units. The customer creates two release orders for this contract. One is for 100 units and the other for 20 units. He then returns 10. The completed quantity is then 110 units.
