Number of the link equipment
The link equipment represents the link between the two pieces of equipment above.

Use
The link between two pieces of equipment is defined by the link number and the short text. A link object does not have to be entered. However, if you want to have the link that exists physically, in other words the link element, represented in the system, the link equipment must be entered here.

If you want to carry out maintenance work on the physical link using maintenance orders, a piece of equipment must exist as the link object, as orders can only be created for equipment and functional locations.
Note that two pieces of equipment can only be linked by another piece of equipment and not by a functional location.
