Definition
The elementary name of a lock entry consists of the indicator specifiying the type of lock (exclusive, shared, not cumulative), the table name and the lock argument (the data records to be locked in the table).
The name of an elementary lock is usually derived from the name of a table containing entries the lock entry is to protect.
When selecting lock entries, you can also enter the elementary lock name generically.
