Definition

The average remuneration is determined at the end of each year for the previous calendar year.

The average remuneration is a value that affects the pension calculation and thus the pension payment.

When the pension is calculated, remuneration points are determined for the individual calendar years of the insurance premiums by dividing the gross work income earned by the person insured by the respective average remuneration of all persons insured.
