Definition
The category of an address list can be defined in Customizing. It consists of a technical key and a short description. Also, the "Rented" indicator can be set for the category.
Use
When maintaining an address list, a category must be assigned to the list. The "Rented" indicator for a category defines how the acquired data an be used when creating outbound contacts for marketing promotions.
