Identifies the entry document category for disposal processing in Waste Management.
Use
The entry document category controls data entry and further processing of the data in disposal processing. You can find further information on the settings controlled by the document category in the documentation in the IMG activity Specify Document Categories.
Using entry document categories, you can map various disposal processing scenarios in the system and control the processing of the entry documents.
Procedure
Examples
In an enterprise in which a central accumulation point is used for waste, you could use different entry document categories for the following cases:
- Disposal processing via the accumulation point
- Direct disposal processing without an accumulation point
In an enterprise in which both internally generated waste and waste delivered from external points of generation are disposed of in a disposal facility, you could use different entry document categories for the following cases:
- Disposal processing of the internally generated wastes
- Disposal processing of the externally generated wastes

Use

Procedure
Enter the entry document category.
Note:
You can specify an entry document category as the default for when you access disposal processing. To do this, choose System -> User profile -> Own data -> Parameters and specify the required value for the parameter EHSWAP_EAC. If you have specified an entry document category as the default in this way, this dialog box no longer appears when you access disposal processing.
Examples
