Procedure
You can only enter a unit of measure that you have specified in the waste material master as either a base unit of measure or an alternative unit of measure or that has the same dimension as the base unit of measure.
If you do not specify a unit of measure, the system determines the unit of measure automatically:
- If you have specified a base unit of measure for the document category in Customizing for Waste Management, this is transferred.
- If you have not specified a base unit of measure there, the unit of measure you specified in the entry tool is used.
- If you also did not specify a base unit of measure in the entry tool, the base unit of measure from the waste material master is used.

Enter the unit that the system should transfer automatically in disposal processing to the Unit ent. qty field if you have created an entry document.
