Documentation
Definition
Defines the sort sequence of the waste code and thereby the proposed waste code for quantity update for the waste approval.
Use
You use the sort sequence to define the following:
- The position of the data record for display
This means that important information can be displayed first.
- The default setting of the relevant waste code for quantity update for a disposal document
See also Waste Code Relevant to Quantity Update.
The numbers in the sort sequence need not be consecutive and you can leave gaps, so that you can insert a waste code later, if required.
Dependencies
You have assigned the waste approval to which this waste code belongs to a disposal document. If you have not defined an update-relevant waste code for a waste item, the system automatically proposes the waste code with the lowest number in the sort sequence for the approval as the update-relevant waste code for the item.
Note: if you show the waste code tab page in the disposal document, you can manually adjust the waste code selected as update relevant.
Example
You have assigned four waste codes with the following sort sequence in the waste approval:
1 A
2 B
3 C
4 D
The following waste codes are assigned to the waste item in the disposal document:
E
D
C
F
If none of these waste codes is selected as update relevant, the system selects waste code C, because this has the lowest number in the sort sequence, as waste codes A and B are not assigned to the waste item.
