Documentation
Definition
Specifies the sum of the waste quantities that were licensed in the waste approval for the waste code and that were actually disposed of in the specified period.
Use
The waste quantities are determined for the specified period if you have activated period-based quantity update for the waste approval in Customizing.
The system calculates the sum of the quantities in the disposal documents that are assigned to the waste approval and waste code, and whose key date for generation, transport, or disposal falls within the specified period.
The system monitors whether the quantity calculated exceeds the licensed quantity for the period.
Depending on the tolerance defined for checks for period-based quantity update in the IMG activity Specify Waste Approval Types, this message is issued as follows:
- Low tolerance for period-based quantity check: error, entry cannot be saved
- Medium tolerance for period-based quantity check: warning
- High tolerance for period-based quantity check: information
Independently of this, the total licensed quantity for the approval and waste code must not be exceeded. As soon as the quantity disposed of exceeds the total licensed quantity, no more disposal documents are created on the basis of this waste approval with this waste code.
