Definition
Specifies the account assignment category.
Use
If follow-on documents are to be created from disposal processing via an application function or function required by the account assignment category (for example, purchasing documents), this account assignment category must be specified here.
Procedure
Choose the account assignment category, ensuring that the account assignment category and the account assignment objects specified are compatible, since otherwise an error will occur when the follow-on document is created. The system does not check in disposal processing whether the account assignment category and account assignment objects are compatible. This is not checked until the follow-on document is created in the corresponding SAP component.
Hinweis:
To prevent errors, the account assignment objects that you can use in disposal processing should be matched to the account assignment categories that you can assign here. To do this, in Customizing for Waste Management you can specify in the IMG activity Specify Account Assignment Objects which account assignment objects you can use in disposal processing. In the IMG activity Specify Subscreen for Account Assignment Block, you can define a suitable subscreen that only contains the account assignment object fields for disposal processing.
By only permitting those account assignment objects for disposal processing that also correspond to the account assignment categories in these IMG activities, you can reduce possible sources of errors.
