Use
When you perform a compliance check, the system uses the validity of a constraint to determine whether or not it is to be included in the compliance check.
Dependencies
The identifications are part of the definition of constraints. Technically, they are implemented by characteristics that are either phrase-enabled or have defined fixed values.
You define which parameters are available, in Customizing for Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S), by choosing Basic Data and Tools -> Compliance Check -> Set Up Parameters for Selecting Constraints and Constraint Validity.
