Documentation
Definition
Specifies the rating for the short-time exposure limit that triggers the proposal of a health surveillance protocol for the person affected.
Trigger criteria
- If the short-time exposure limit is higher than the trigger level, the system will always propose a protocol. If the short-term exposure limit is the same as the trigger level, the system checks the second criterion for proposing a protocol: whether the trigger level for exposure frequency has been exceeded.
- If this is the case, the protocol is proposed.
- If this is not the case, the protocol is not proposed.
- If the exposure frequency is the same as the trigger level, the system checks the third criterion for proposing a protocol: whether the additional trigger level for the long-term average has been exceeded.
- If this is the case, the protocol is proposed.
- If this is not the case, the protocol is not proposed.
In other words, the system only proposes a health surveillance protocol if all the above requirements are met - provided that all the relevant entries have been made. If there is no entry for one of the three trigger levels, it is not included in the check.
The system also triggers a protocol for any rating that is higher than the one specified here.
Examples
The system only proposes a protocol if the exposure measured is between 10% and 50% of the maximum full-shift reference value. The trigger level for task exposure is therefore C. The protocol is also triggered if higher ratings such as A or B are actually measured.
