Definition
External send types are defined exclusively by customers.
Using an external send type, you can control external further processing of application forms independent of the fields specified by SAP (for example, RDI, DEVICE, SENDTYPE). By selecting a dispatch type in the dispatch control, you can forward the external send type to an application form.
In the application form, you can interpret the external send type by requesting the variables C-SENDTYPE_EXT, and for example, forward it externally via the RDI for further processing.
