Documentation
Definition
Groups together a set of parameters (attributes of an address format) that control the formatting of the address.
Use
If the address formatting takes place in the form class (for example, with function module ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM), you can control in the application form of the form class how the address formatting takes place.
You can also use address formatting in a decoupled scenario, for example, if the business partner is stored in a central system and the address is called directly from there already formatted.
Dependencies
Entries for address formatting do not have any effect on address objects in the application forms.
The number of lines of the address must be reflected in the output form. For example, if 6 lines are specified for the address in the form, then 6 lines must also be entered in the address formatting.
