Dependencies
So that the system can calculate the effective interest rate, you must make entries in the Loan Condition and Repayment Installment (for installment loans) or Annuity Installment (for annuity loans) fields. In addition, you must enter a payment on the Payments tab page.
If you change the master data of an existing loan at a later time, the system automatically recalculates the effective interest.
The recalculation of the effective interest always occurs if you change the loan condition, the repayment or annuity installment, or a payment, or if you create an additional payment.
If you make retrospective changes in Customizing, for example changing a loan condition, the system does not automatically recalculate the effective interest. In this case, the interest is not recalculated until you open a loan that uses the changed loan condition in change mode and then save.
