Definition
The auto activity component has an integrated debugging component that enables you to check the procesing steps and analyze unexpected system behavour.
The debussing step is specified for each configuration. It controls how detailed the information is when it is outputted for processing.
If debugging has been activated in a configuration, the component sends a row of I-notifications with the relevant information. These notifications generally appear in small dialog boxes.
There are 4 debugging steps:
0 Productive operation
Debugging is deactivated for this configuration. Invalid Customizing and error are ignored by the system during runtime and the corresponding activities are not triggered.
1 Selected activities
The debugging function is only activated for activities for which you have set the debugging indicator.
The debugging function indicates:
- When the activity is triggered
- When an action starts for an activity
- Start of the condition check, if you maintain conditions
- Results of the condition check for each element anf the components for the comparison elements
- Error messages, missing elements
2 All activities
The debugging function is activated for all activities. The debugging indicator on the activity level is ignored.
3 All actions and activities
The debugging function is set for all activities. The debugging function on the activity level is ignored.
In addition, all the activities that are triggered are displayed in a dialog box, regardless of whether an action is maintained for an activity You can use this level to find out when which activities are triggered in a CIC configuration.
