Definition

Specifies how the indexes for parallel DeltaQueue updates are initially structured in order to load historical consumption (mass activity). When the mass activity is carried out, the system automatically updates the extrapolation indexes for the Delta Upload.

You can choose from the following settings:

  • Re-build extraploation indexes for Delta initialization

Choose this option if you have not yet loaded any historical consumption into BW and therefore require a Delta Initialization for the 0UC_ISU_CONSUMPT_02 DataSource. The extrapolation indexes are built completely from the utility contract table.

  • Adopt existing extrapolation indexes

If you have already used the 0UC_ISU_CONSUMPTION DataSource to load historical consumption into BW, you can choose this option and adopt the existing extrapolation indexes. You can then use the mass activity and the 0UC_ISU_CONSUMPT_02 DataSource to carry out further uploads without having to perform another Delta Initialization.

  • Correct extrapolation indexes

If you have already used the OUC_ISU_CONSUMPT_02 DataSource to load historical consuption into BW, and you determine that the consumption for certain contracts is missing in BW, you can structure the extrapolation indexes for these contracts subsequently. The existing extrapolation indexes remain unchanged. After the next execution of the mass run and during the next Delta Upload the consumption for these contracts is then transferred as initial into BW without having to perform another Delta Initialization for the DataSource.
