Documentation
Definition
Character string that identifies a change type.
Use
You can control the change process in your company in the following ways:
- Define a company-specific status profile for both a change order and a context
- Set automatic generation of change tasks
- Set automatic generation of object management records
- Define a context hierarchy for complex change processes that cross organizational unit boundaries
Dependencies
When you create a change order, you define the change type. Because the change type has important control functions, you cannot change the change type after saving.
