Definition

Enables you to specify any event other than the hire date that triggers the waiting period, for example, a promotion.

If you have also maintained infotype Date Specifications (0041) for this date type on a specific date, the waiting period starts on this date. If, however, you have also set the Waiting Period Starts at Hire Date indicator, the waiting period starts no later than the hire date and the event date.
