Definition

A set of rules used for calculating compensation awards on the basis of either fixed values or a matrix of up to 3 dimensions.

Example

  • Fixed guidelines
    4% salary increase (fixed percentage), 10,000 USD bonus (fixed amount) or 120 options (fixed number) for a group of employees.
  • Matrix guidelines
    Based on performance, length of service, compa-ratio and age.
  • User-defined guidelines
    You can also use other criteria to determine the award amount that is not handled by fixed or matrix guidelines.
