The ratio between the salary received by an employee and the reference salary of the employee's pay grade level.
Example
An employee belongs to pay grade 09, level 01 and his/her annual salary amounts to 59,000 USD. The reference salary of pay grade level is 60,000 USD. This means that the employee has the following compa-ratio: 59,000/60,000 =0.98.
