Definition

This date is used to calculate the pay category for a specific employee when comparing internal vs. market data or when extracting data for salary survey participation.

The key date is always the system date.

Using this key date, you can specify the date range that the system should use to determine the relevant wage types to calculate pay categories.

Possible entries are:

  • Key date
  • Start of calendar year of key date
  • End of calendar year of key date
  • Start of calendar year prior to key date
  • End of calendar year prior to key date
  • Key date plus one year
  • Key date minus one year
