Documentation
Definition
Defines that the systems tries to resolve the error symptoms ad hoc.
Use
If this indicator is set, the implemnted APIs of the application are processed in time intervals by means of the RETRY method. If this chain of attempts fails and the Persistent indicator is set, the system generates a postprocessing order for the error symptom.
Dependencies
Using the Repeat, Time Interval, Unit for Time Interval, and Rollover parameters you can define the time intervals for the attempts.
Example
If there is a lock problem (error symptom), it is highly likely that this symptom can be remedied in transient mode within a certain time frame. This offers the advantage that no postprocessing orders result in PPO that need processing. This means that in this case, fully automatic processing is possible.
