Definition
Grouping term for postprocessing orders that you define.
The retry group defines the time period in which the system executes the automatic retry of postprocessing orders (for example, hourly or daily).
Use
If errors or conflicts occur when a business process is executed, the system creates a postprocessing order and assigns it to a retry group.
The system uses the retry group to which you have assigned the solution strategy of the error symptom. You make this assignment in the IMG activity Define Solution Strategy.
Dependencies
When you plan an automatic retry, you can refer to the retry group by using the time period of the retry group to plan a background job.
For example, for a retry group with the characteristic value hourly, you plan the retry so that it runs hourly.
