Definition
Name of a document type for batch records.
A document type groups documents with a similar layout whose data originate in the same object type (such as, process order or inspection lot).
Use
In the document profile, you specify the following for each document type:
- Whether documents of this type are archived in batch records
- Which form, print program, and FORM routine are used to create the documents. This means, you determine the document layout and contents.
