Definition
The right to a discount is not lost for a partial payment made using Biller Direct.

Set this indicator if the right to a discount for a partial payment is not to be lost.
Dependencies
The behavior of the system depends on the posting logic for partial payments, see Partial Payment Creation for more information . In the case of residual item creation the discount is allowed with the first partial payment, but with partial payment creation only with the final payment. Note that for the former you can assign a minimum payment amount using the tolerances.

Example
Using the tolerances, you have set that for partial payments a minimum of 80% of the bill amount must be paid, and that the right to a discount is not lost for a partial payment.
The customer pays 800 EUR for a bill of 1000 EUR and 3% discount within the discount period. 30 EUR discount is allowed immediately for the residual item creation. For partial payment creation, the 30 EUR is only allowed if the customer arranges payment of the remaining amount of 200 EUR before the discount period expires.
