Definition
The item ID represents an item linked through the CO/SD document flow with an item in an SD document.
The item itself can be physically stored in a table or may exist only logically. The item ID can be used to derive the item's identifying characteristics.
Example
CO line items from table COEP with identifying characteristics (without client):
- KOKRS: 0001
- BELNR: 0123456789
- BUZEI: 001
When used in expenditure-related billing, this is represented by the item ID "CO00010123456789001".
