Definition
Indicates that the message for the EAN/UPC references is linked to the message for the material master during analysis of the relevant master data changes at POS interface - outbound.
Use
A change to an additional EAN/UPC leads to the material master being prepared. If a material is prepared, the EAN/UPC references are also prepared (if data is changed).
Dependencies
This indicator should be set for POS systems that cannot manage EAN/UPC references and need the full material master reference for all EANs/PCs. If the indicator is flagged, changes to the material master (for example, price changes) affect the material master (WP_PLU) and EAN/UPC references (WP_EAN).
The converter has access to the relevant master master record if changes are made to EAN/UPC references. This means that the converter can generate the complete material master for each EAN/UPC reference in the POS system.
