Definition
Specifies the action that the maintenance worker must take to implement thesafety measure during maintenance execution.
Use
You select the action required for a safety measure when you add the object in question, for example a document, material, or production resource/tool (PRT), to the safety measure list. In all other applications, this field is read-only.
The following values are possible:
- Inform
This value indicates that when the safety measure is assigned in an order, its details are simply included in the job card. You select this value, for example, if you want the maintenance worker to be aware of the safety measure. When you add an object to the safety measure list, the system selects this value by default.
- Sign
This value indicates that when the safety measure is assigned in an order, its details are included in the job card and a space is provided for the maintenance worker's signature. You select this value, for example, if you want the maintenance worker to confirm that he or she has read and understood the safety measure.
- Not Safety-Relevant
This value indicates that an object is not a safety measure. The system automatically selects this value for objects that are of an object type valid in the safety measure list (documents, materials, PRTs, and so on) but that you have not added to this list.
