Definition

Specifies whether the distance between a marker and a linear point can be negative or positive or both (shortest distance).

For example when creating a maintenance order, you select a marker and additionally enter the distance between the marker and the linear point for which you create the order. The distance code then specifies whether the distance can be negative or positive or both.
