Definition

If you set this indicator, only new individual bills are printed on a collective bill. This applies to individual bills whose collective bill document has not been entered in a collective bill print document. This means, the transaction Create Collective Bill EA10_COLL has not been executed for the collective bill posting document.

Use

Activate this indicator if you only want new individual bills to be selected for the collective bill.

Dependencies

You can select child documents contained in the application form of the collective bill (form class IS_U_BI_COLLECTIVE_BILL_NEW) at the DOC_HEADER form level. If you have selected the Print Single Documents as Well indicator, you can also select printed individual bills.

Example

The following scenario can occur, for example:

  1. Individual bills are created, for example, in transaction EA10
  2. The print document for the collective bill is created, transaction EA10_COLL
  3. The collective bill is printed with child documents, if necessary, transaction EA64.
  4. One or more individual bills are reversed, for example, using transaction EA15
  5. If necessary, individual bills created again
  6. The print document for the collective bill is reversed, transaction EA10_COLL
  7. The print document for the collective bill is created again, transaction EA10_COLL
  8. The collective bill is printed with child documents, if necessary, transaction EA64.

If you do not set the Only New Child Documents indicator, all corresponding child documents are printed in step 8.
If you do set the Only New Child Documents indicator, the system only prints child documents that did not belong to a previous collective bill (for example, the collective bill created in step 2). In this case, the child documents created in steps 4 and 5.
