Definition

Offset in days for the expiration date of the settlement log.

Use

The expiration date of the settlement log is calculated in the following way: system date + offset in days.

The log must be kept until the end of the expiration date. This means you have selected Keep until expiry.

Example

  • Select Keep until expiry

    System date: 01/01/2000

    Offset: 20

    --> Expiration date: 01/21/2000

    --> Log can be deleted from 01/21/2000

  • Do not select Keep until expiry.

    System date: 01/01/2000

    Offset: 20

    --> Expiration date: 12/31/9999

    --> Log can be deleted at any time.
