Definition
You use this field to control whether you have to specify a distributor (service provider with service category Distribution) for settlement units.
You have the following control options:
- Service category must be defined
When you define a settlement unit, you must specify a distributor.
The service Distribution must be provided by this service provider for all points of delivery of the settlement unit. - Service category can be defined
When you define a settlement unit, you can choose whether or not to specify a distributor.
If you do specify a service provider, the service Distribution must be provided by this service provider for all points of delivery of the settlement unit.
If you do not specify a service provider, the service Distribution must exist for all points of delivery of the settlement unit; it is however not important which service provider provides this service. - Service category must be defined (service from other service provider)
When you define a settlement unit, you must specify a distributor. The service Distribution must exist for all points of delivery of the settlement unit; however, it may not be provided by this service provider.
