Definition

Parameters of a settlement procedure are grouped according to usage type:

  • General parameters must be transfered at the start of the settlement procedure and made available for all processing steps. These parameters contain header data and control information that is independent from the selected settlement procedure.
  • Specific parameters are made available for further processing of the settlement steps. These parameters contain all the necessary input data and the results of each settlement step including profiles and values.

Use

The usage type of a parameter determines where the input or result profiles are saved. The usage types are as follows:

  • Specific parameters in the settlement procedure are assigned to the virtual point of delivery according to their role as defined in the settlement procedure.
  • Specific parameters for each individual settlement unit are assigned to the virtual point of delivery within the settlement unit according to their role as defined in the settlement procedure.
  • Specific parameters per grid are assigned to the virtual point of delivery within the grid according to their role as defined in the settlement procedure. Grid-related sub-results that are calculated per settlement unit are distinguished by specifying the settlement unit in the Role Context
