Definition
Service type for service provider that invoices the contract
Use
If the service provider, for which the contract was created, does not invoice the contract to the end customer, you can define the service type of the invoicing service provider here.
When the utility contract/> creates the contract, the invoicing service provider is recorded in the contract.
Dependencies
You must have defined a service and contract for the service type of the invoicing service provider in the utility scenario. The invoicing service provider is derived from this contract and service.
Example
The distributor defines a utility scenario for externally supplied points of delivery (PoDs) that has the following services and contracts:
- Grid usage contract for own service provider (distributor)
- Supply contract for external supplier
- Service for settlement coordination by the settlement coordinator
The supplier invoices the contract (for grid usage) to the supplier. The grid usage is therefore billed between the distributor and supplier.
In order to control the process, the external supplier must be entered in the grid usage contract as the invoicing service provider.
To ensure this occurs automatically when the utility scenario is applied, enter in the contract the service type of the supply service as the service type of the invoicing service provider.
