Definition

If you set this field, the supply scenario takes control of the automatic service determination function.

This has the following effects:

  • The automatic service determination function, that is dependent on the operational area or enrollment type, is deactivated.
Services are not automatically created upon move-in, nor are they automatically canceled upon move-out.
  • Automatic creation/cancellation of services depends on one of the supply scenarios that is selected for the point of delivery (PoD).
Supply scenarios form the basis of the SAP IS-U-IDE infrastructure for changes of supplier, which was shipped in Release 4.64.

Use

Set this indicator wherever possible and use the supply scenario functions to structure your data model for PoDs in deregulated environments.

Only remove this indicator if you have already installed the automatic service determination function based on operational areas/enrolment types, and want to continue using this function after upgrading to SAP IS-U Release 4.71
