Definition
Service type for service provider that bills the contract
Use
If a contract is not billed by the service provider for that contract, you can enter the service type of the billing service provider here.
When the utility scenario creates an installation for the contract, the billing service provider is recorded in the installation.
Dependencies
You must have defined a service or contract for the service type of the billing service provider in the utility scenario. The billing service provider is derived from this service/contract.
Example
The distributor defines a utility scenario for externally supplied points of delivery (PoDs), in which the supply contract is billed for the supplier.
To do this, the distributor defines the following services and contracts for the utility scenario in his/her system:
- Grid usage contract for own service provider (distributor)
- Supply contract for external supplier
- Service for settlement coordination for settlement coordinator
The supply contact is billed for the supplier. The bill line items are made available for the supplier.
In order to control the process, the distributor must be entered as the billing service provider in the installation for the supply contract
To ensure this happens automatically when the utility scenario is applied, enter the service type of the grid usage service as the service type of the billing service provider in the supply contract.
