Documentation
Definition
Percentage deducted from the target quantity.
Use
The tolerance serves as a "safety margin", or element of leeway, for the target quantity. This means that the target quantity is reduced by this percentage in the selection.
This allows you to also select outline agreements of whose target quantity only 95% has so far been reached, for example.
An entry here only makes sense if the comparison operator between
target quantity and released/scheduled qty. is < or <=.
Example
You set target quantity < released/scheduled qty. and enter tolerance target quantity 5%. There is an outline agreement with a target quantity of 100, of which 90 have been released or scheduled.
When the program is run, the system calculates the quantity as follows:
100 - (5% of 100) = 95
The outline agreement is thus not selected because 95 (target quantity - tolerance) < 90 is not satisfied.
