Documentation
Definition
An entry in this field determines the intervals (months) in which the account takes part in automatic interest calculation (account balance interest calculation). The interest frequency is added to the date of the last interest calculation.
Examples
Date of last interest calculation: 31 March
+ 01 month interest frequency
= 30 April uper limit of current interest run
Dependencies
The invoicing period determines whether an account takes part in the next interest calculation. This invoicing period is included as a report parameter.
As in the above example, the upper limit of the interest run is calculated and compared with the upper limit of the invoicing period entered for the interest run (parameter in report). If the upper limit calculated is after the invoicing period, no interest calculation is made for the account.
Note
If the interest frequency is maintained in the master record of the account, this data is used for calculating the upper limit. Otherwise the interest frequency defined in the interest indicator is used.
